Hello all,
After our successful Wheatear trip yesterday we birded Pacific and Wahkiakum counties today - had 5 Western Scrub-Jays east end of Ilwaco and 45 Eurasian Collared-Doves on lines going thru Chinook. Townsend's Warbler and Anna's Hummingbird in with flock of chickadees and kinglets, and many juncos.
At the junction of Cross Dike and Welcome roads on a quick drive around Puget Island a Red-shouldered Hawk was sitting on the fenceline - flew to trees then across canal to the south. At the east end of Little Island rd were 6 Mourning Doves and California Quail. Could not find Collared-Dove for Wahkiakum county - -
Later, ML
