As I was getting out of my car at home tonight in the Houghton neighborhood
of Kirkland I heard the honk of a Trumpeter Swan very close, it was both eerie
and cool. ?Five flew right overhead. ?I would not be surprised if they roost at?
Jaunita Bay Natural Area tonight, that is the general direction they were going.?
