My wife and I are planning a birding trip to Costa Rica this February & very much need advice from those out there who have gone before; specifically, best time in Feb to go, best locations to include, 7, 10, or 14 days, birding tours to select or avoid, and any other inside information you wish you had before you went. My wife is a fluent Spanish speaker and I know enough to communicate that I don't speak Spanish. Not an unlimited budget nor unlimited time, but a once in a lifetime experience for us.
