Hi Gary & Diana

I have no doubt you will receive a lot of help here, so thought I would make
my recommendation rather short. I have been to CR many times my #1
recommendation would be Savagre Lodge in the Cerro de la Muerte area. The
guides that are part of the lodge are excellent and the original founder of
the lodge is a legend in birding around Costa Rica!

Subject: [Tweeters] Trip Planning for Costa Rica

Hello, Tweets
My wife and I are planning a birding trip to Costa Rica this February & very
much need advice from those out there who have gone before; specifically,
best time in Feb to go, best locations to include, 7, 10, or 14 days,
birding tours to select or avoid, and any other inside information you wish
you had before you went. My wife is a fluent Spanish speaker and I know
enough to communicate that I don't speak Spanish. Not an unlimited budget
nor unlimited time, but a once in a lifetime experience for us.
