A note for those who are, or know, mobility impaired birders, the two Tropical Kingbirds near Sequim are very accessible and often can be seen from a car without transferring. To get to the spot where they have been found the last few days, drive to Sequim, get off 101 on Washington Ave., turn N on Sequim/Dungeness Ave., turn right on Three Crabs Rd. after a few miles, drive all the way to the end of Three Crabs Rd. (remember to turn right at the old Three Crabs Restaurant-that is not the spot!) and continue to where the pavement ends and there is a rather confined turnaround space. The kingbirds are very active among the fruit trees, shrubs, and particularly electrical lines over the pavement. If the birds are not in sight when you arrive, they sometimes retreat to surrounding shrubs, but will probably be back in sight in a few minutes as long as they stay at this location. Good luck!
