Hi Tweets,

A sunny day on the coast is hard to beat in November. Heather wasn't able to go look for the Wheatear earlier, some decided to give it a shot. There were about 8 birders throughout the morning looking to no avail. Nice flock of 20 Semi-palmated plovers and a few Black-belied Plovers kept us entertained. Plus Rhino Auklets right at the edge of the jetty wall was a nice treat.

Tokeland at low tide was different and required a lot of scope work looking across a whole lot of mud flat. The results were:
10 Willet
7 LB Curlew
1 injured Marbled Godwit
300 Dunlin
And a
TROPICAL KINGBIRD about one block shy of the point in a houseless lot of shore pine and the name Logan on a sign. In the same area was a Peregrine Falcon and a nice sparrow flock

Good Birding,

Marcus Roening,
