Ruddy Duck - 1 female Colonial Creek Campground
Horned Grebe - 2 Ross Lake overlook
Western Grebe - Diablo Lake overlook
Golden Eagle - Corkindale
Thayer's Gull - 1 Marblemount Boat Launch
Great Horned Owl - 1 Sauk Valley
Yellow-shafted Flicker - 2, both apparently pure birds: a male at Gorge
Lake Campground with a brown face, black malar, red nape mark and yellow
shafts; a female at Diablo with a brown cheek, red nape mark and yellow
shafts
American Tree Sparrow - 1 with juncos at Sauk Prairie
Savannah Sparrow - 1 Sauk Prairie
Swamp Sparrow - 1 Gorge Lake Campground
Common Redpoll - 1 with siskins along Martin Rd in Rockport

Also, a Bobcat crossed the highway while heading home down the Sauk Valley
in the afternoon!
