YESTERDAY Phill Kelley and I LED A GROUP OF SEVEN BIRDERS FROM THE Black
HILL AUDUBON on our annual
Fieldtrip in November to all the way from Gorst to all the way to Fort
Flagler.Patrick & I used to doing this every year in the fall where we
trying to finding the first Harlequin & the wanted Oldquaw ducks,and all
the many places to visiting,
We started in Gorst where we had the highest group of Dunlin500
all together 16M species,
Next Stop was Kitsap MEMORIAL STATE PARK
there WE HAD THREE SPECIES OF LOONS ,COMMON .
RED-THROATED &Pacific LOONS with 20 species,highlights where a Anna's
Humming bird ,Brown Creeper,&Ruby C.Kinglet.

NEXT Salisbury Point State Park,
The wind was so severe ,that there was few Birds Red-necked Grebes &Pigeon
Guillemot & few distance GulLS IN A DISTANCE .
Jefferson ore Oak bay was loaded with birds,here we garnished
22 species of birds there where Black Turnstone's many green-winged
teal,many Olympus Gulls Mew & California Gulls,hooded Merganser 50 Canada
Geese on some one's Yard on the Hill
A BALD EAGLE FEEDING ON HIS PREY.25 Dunlin,with 8 Killdeer
Across the waters we had our lunch on a table with benches ,the weather was
great the Sun. was shining,but we missed the many OYSTERCATCHER WHAT WE HAD
LAST YEAR!!!!!!
Indian Island ,had 4 greater yellowlegs ,and the tiny Town of Nordland had
30 buffleheads.
Mystery Bay had the only Black Chickadee on the trip,BALD EAGLE 30 Golden
C.SPARROW'S ,Spotted Towhee.many Horned Grebes Common Loon &DC CORMORANT.
OFF TO FORT FLAGLER,here WE HAD OUR HIGHLIGHTS
7 Long-tailed Ducks,45 Harlequin Ducks,2 Black bellied Plovers
DC& PELAGIC CORMORANT no Shorebirds on the Spit
Port Townsend,the SUN WENT AWAY AND THE LIGHTING WAS NOT SO GOOD,this are
the only birds we did not had on the trip,Northern Shoveler &Rhinoceros
Auklet.

ALL TOGETHER WE HAD 57 SPECIES,Like ALWAYS WE HAD A LOT OF REPEATERS
