Subject: [Tweeters] Anna's Hummingbirds here as well - addendum to

Now that I have started filling my hummingbird feeders again, the year-round 'Attack Anna's' are commandeering the feeders again - one will often stand sentry in a nearby bush and zip out, clicking madly, to chase after another Anna's or even another type of bird that is too closely passing by the hummer feeder.

Also clicking (chipping) prolifically, are the numerous Dark-eyed Juncos, some of which have seemed to have been around all year, but are now joined by many more - it's fun to see the white tailbars flicking in trees and shrubs and on the ground.

Now that the number of Eastern Gray Squirrels in the yard, seems to be diminishing for some reason (I think someone is translocating them :-)), I am not having to replenish my feeders quite so much, nor am I having to deal with quite as much gnawing on the feeders themselves. The rats, well that's another story...

Looking forward to more feathered yard visitors in the months to come.
