Had a wonderful day of birding if White-winged Scoters are your thing. I managed to encounter them in three locations today:

--Pair-Adult male and female south of Wanapum Dam, just above the railroad bridge.
--Two immatures with a scaup flock just north of Wanapum Dam
--Adult male on Sorenson Pond-same bird as Walter Szeliga found yesterday.

Also present on Sorenson Pond was a female Long-tailed Duck (sleeping on the shore)--this bird was also found by Walter yesterday and an adult Trumpeter Swan with the large flocks of Canada geese.
