I was at Discovery Park this morning, arrived about the time the Brown Booby was being seen at West Point. But of course, I was not at West Point. No Booby when I got there around 11:15 or so, but mostly the usual suspects. On my way back to the car, not knowing what I missed by an hour, I was ecstatic to see a GREAT HORNED OWL near Utah Wetlands and about 20 minutes later a SNOWY OWL up in a cedar by the hilltop government housing. The snowy was being harassed by a handful of crows for about 5-10 minutes, then they found other things to do, maybe chasing the Booby even farther away from West Point.
