Hi,

Ted Petersen, John Pushock and I made a successful run for the Citrine Wagtail - at the previously described location.

It takes a while to get there and back - we left yesterday afternoon and stayed the night in Nanaimo. We were on site about 7:30 a.m. and after about 45 minutes we located the bird. It was about 60 yards away - too far for photo opportunities. But we had a good looks in dull but dry conditions. We left about an hour later - and then it really started to rain. We got back to Edmonds about 5 p.m. Did I say it was long way?

This is a first record for Canada and only the 2nd for the ABA area.
