Hello,
We are looking for information on the location of swans in the Auburn
area. Two collided on a power line at the corner of 277th and D yesterday.
Please let me know what you have found this fall, exact locations if
possible. This would likely include the Sumner zone as well. If anyone
knows where these birds are roosting we would like to know.

Also, I am looking for photos to add to my swan ID files. I get several
requests each season from birders all over North America wanting to know if
they have seen the elusive Trumpeter Swan in the eastern US areas or areas
where they are rare or not reported. Sometimes this is more of a challenge.
I need tundra swan photos, ones that are of a wide variety of facial
characteristics. I know these get taken as you find them along your
travels. Also, anything that might look questionable, always happy to add
to my "challenge" file.
And a hearty thank you to those that have helped create the file I have.
Just got photos from someone in PA. And, these could be trumpeters! That
would be exciting.
