Good morning

We searched around Fir Island yesterday and managed to find and confirm? one snowy owl and possibly another.? They were both on Thomle Rd the same place they were last year.? I managed to get one photo with my 400 lens.? It was next to the white stakes that stick out of the ground along the larger ditch that runs from the road back to the dike on the east side of the large field.? We think we saw a second owl also along a stake further out but our binocs and my lens couldn't make out a white blob that far away.?

Along the same road there were red-tailed & ?rough-legged hawks,? the ever present harrier, several eagles, a small?group of American Golden Plovers, swans, snow geese, dunlins, and one godwit.?

The field is very clearly marked as private property and written permission required.? I have no idea who to contact to get permission but if someone does know please post the info.

Happy Thanksgiving
