Subject: [Tweeters] Ross's Goose "Pleasant Valley location"

Tweets, Saturday afternoon I did not see the Ross's Goose in the previously
reported field adjacent to the intersection of SR603 and Twin Oaks Rd, just
off SR6 (exit 77) a few miles W of I-5. While scoping the nearby "swan
lake" that lies in the farm fields between Twin Oaks and Pleasant Valley
Rds, viewed from the rail track a short distance down Twin Oaks (per Roger
Moyer's directions - thanks!), I was surprised to see the goose putzing
among the waterfowl accompanied by a dark Snow Goose. At approx. 2:20 for
no discernible cause they lifted, along with a small Canada, flew directly
overhead and turned WSW, apparently to the 1341 Hwy 6 location reported by
Jerry Swena. I was not able to re-find the Gr Wh-fronted Goose. Good
birding!
