Hi all -
This afternoon I had a very brief look at the Northern Waterthush where previously reported along South Prairie Carbon River Rd. It responded to my ipod at around 2:30 and was barely visible, just across from the first driveway for the pallet place, north of 223rd. I stayed until after 4:00 w/ no more luck coaxing it out.

Earlier , I failed to find the Lewis Co Ross's Goose [I believe it wasn't found today], but did turn up a White-throated Sparrow on the trail along SR 6, near 1341.

Mid-day, at Mounts Road in Pierce Co., I came across a Swamp Sparrow near the end of the road. A Northern Shrike was out in the fields too.

Earlier in the weekend, I spent some time in Skamania and Klickitat County along the Columbia -- highlights included: the lingering Red-shouldered Hawk at Skamania Landing on Saturday; a White-throated Sparrow at the Bingen Marina [Klickitat]; Northern Harriers at Strawberry Island [N. Bonneville, Skamania] and Marble Rd. [Skamania Co]; and Marsh Wrens at Strawberry Island & Red Bluff Rd Marsh [Skamania] -- Northern Harrier & Marsh Wren are surprisingly difficult in Skamania -

Good Thanksgiving Birding,
