Indeed - here in the "countryside" of Roy, we have about 350 siskins working the various feeding stations. At times, when they're feeding on the ground, they definitely look like a locust swarm!
May all your birds be identified,
Denis

Right now there are about 15 Pine Siskins at our feeders; the activity reminds me of a locust swarm ("a horde of siskins descended on us"). I have never seen so many in the yard at once. This goes along with the great numbers reported by some other observers out in the countryside.
