So twice this week my TEN year old has identified life birds for me. This time a beautiful red sapsucker who has apparently made our maple tree by our house a favorite eating spot. He?s been seen here three different days this week. Unfortunately its rather gloomy here so no good pictures. But I had to share my excitement with someone. Just so you know if anybody?s ever intrested in bird watching on our 22 acres that has the Clallam river running through and around it, one mile south of Clallam Bay you are more then welcome. We only ask that you tell us your around so that our kids don?t get shocked by visitors. We have a open property policy.
