The Snowy was on the breakwater south of the Edmonds ferry dock at 1:30 Monday, and local observers said it had been there 4 hours (by 1:30 pm). They said it has been spotted for about a week now. Also nice to see were the Pelagic as well as Double Crested Cormorants, Black Scoters and Surf Scoters; Western grebes; red necked and horned Grebes and p. Guillemots in non-breeding plumage; Rhinoceros auklet, Common Murre, plus Mew, Bonaparte?s and Heerman?s gulls. Beautiful day.
