This morning I observed a half-dozen Black Turnstones and Surfbirds at Alki Beach along the rock wall just North of the sandy beach area. ?They were working the rocks just North of a wooden stairway leading down to the rocks at the water's edge. ?Many other birds were in the area as well such as Double-crested and Pelagic Cormorants, Barrow's Goldeneye, Buffleheads, Western, Red-necked, and Horned Grebes etc.

Good Birding,
