Hey Folks,

Yesterday I was looking for the Tropical Kingbirds near 3 crabs restaurant-I came up empty handed, although I checked for the birds twice during twice in the AM. I also tried to look for the Swamp Sparrow at Kitchen-Dick ponds-no luck. I stopped at Dungeness Spit park area. There were numerous Evening Grosbeaks at the park residents' feeders. At the western overlook Dungeness Spit there were Black and Surf Scoters, and Long-Tailed Ducks. I also heard a Downy Woodpecker and a Red-Breasted Nuthatch.

There was a single SNOWY OWL (very dark-heavily barred) on top of the roof of the house at the most northwestern point of Marine Drive.

I also searched Ediz Hook for any rockpipers with no luck-however I found another SNOWY OWL on the left side of the hook maybe 125 yards before the Coast Guard base at the tip of hook. I refound the SNOW BUNTING in the grassy sand on the right of the road. There was also a Black-Bellied Plover present, Sanderlings were hanging out as well.
