Here are the sightings in my backyard yesterday, this was two hours in the morning, when the sun broke out for a moment. The star of the show is the Evening Grosbeak, with Red-breasted Sapsucker, flicker, downey, chickadees, etc. I left out the doves, house sparrows, crows, and juncos; I missed the nuthatch, kinglets and Anna's. The grosbeaks have come back in geat force this year I counted between 50 and 60, about twice the number from last year; they really love the maple seeds and we have a huge tree that is giving them days of feeding.

No dippers today but my book is still on iTunes. And in a week I will have a companion book to go with it with 350 pages of pictures. Also for those that are missing my dipper post I have a Facebook page that has been fun. https://www.facebook.com/donnie.dipper
