Hello all again,
This morning on my usual walk along Stone Creek in south College Place I spished up a winter adult Swamp Sparrow along with several Song Sparrows. Ginger and I just spent over an hour trying to relocate without luck - but did find a Golden-crowned Sparrow. It has been many years since we have had SWSP in our county - this must be a good fall for sparrows.
Also had Evening Grosbeaks in our yard - but no Pygmy Nuthatches yet!!
Later, ML
