I had a good morning at both lakes in the Lake Hills Greenbelt in Bellevue that I thought was worth reporting.

At Phantom L. I saw 5 Ruddy ducks which beat the prior earliest sighting of Oct. 7, 2004.
Also at Phantom L. saw 3 Greater Scaup. Only have had one earlier sighting on Sept. 30, 2009
Also at Phantom L. I heard 2 Virginia Rail. I have a number of Sept. recordings of 1 VIRA

At Larsen L. I watched a River Otter for quite a few minutes. This is second earliest fall sighting. I had 3 RIOT sightings in Sept. starting on Sept. 5, 2006.
