It was t-shirt and shorts weather on the coast today, as is so typical for
October in western Washington. The birding was fairly good as well.

Thanks to all the great posts recently, I relocated the WILSON'S PLOVER on
my second try of the day near Grayland State Park trail #3 at about 11:30.
The bird was hanging out with 6 SNOWY PLOVERS. There were also dozens of
AMERICAN PIPITS in and around the beach grass.

Midway beach- 11 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE, a single GREATER YELLOWLEGS,
two HORNED LARKS, and dozens of PIPITS.

Bottle Beach- A nice variety of birds on a low tide. RED KNOTS,
BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS, DUNLIN, SANDERLING, DOWITCHERS, PEEPS and
RING-BILLED GULLS.

Got a couple of WILSON'S pics and a nice tan today. Met some nice people
