The final Westport Seabird pelagic trip of the year, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13, has been canceled because of forecasted rough seas, wind and rain. It's rescheduled for next Saturday, Oct. 20. Many of our unusual and rare sightings have come on our last trip of the year in October. I'm not sure if we have a full boat of birders for this trip, but there should be a few spaces left.
