Tweeters,
Kate and I were on Fir Island yesterday. Not many bird species seen in
the high winds. About 6-700 Snow Geese at Hayden. But amazingly both
types blackberries were still edible at this late date. Anyone remember
a year when edible blackberries lingered as long? Guessing it is due to
the lack of rain.
