I hope it is appropriate to use the list for this purpose, but I think of it
as a public service. I know a lot of you often bird in remote places
without good (or any) sanitary facilities, both in the US and abroad, so I
want to recommend a simple, inexpensive product that allows women to pee
standing up, without removal of clothing. It's called the pStyle, and is
sold by a small company in Portland (disclaimer: I have no financial or
other interest in the company). My field-ornithologist and mountain-climber
daughter told me about it, and says it changed her life. I just
field-tested it on a birding tour in Peru, and it was awesome. Women, you
need one! Men, give them to the women in your life!
