We did the Big Sit here on the Little Pend Oreille NWR this weekend. Unfortunately we had pretty bad weather for the first time in months. In addition to the wind all day we had the first rain since July 3rd. The 3 folks that came out all enjoyed the day and in spite of the weather we did get a few birds come by. Regardless of the weather we had fun and I would encourage folks to try more of these counts, especially east of the Cascades.
