Tweets,
While volunteering at the Seattle Audubon Nature Shop this afternoon, I r?cd call from non-birder Terry Alexander. He is an avid bird feeder, though, well-knows Steller?s Jays, and what he described didn?t sound like a Scrub Jay. While at a friend?s house on 112th and Sheridan in Parkland, he observed what he is sure was a Blue Jay on a wire across the street from the house. This area is about 1 mile east of McChord AFB. He was sure of the description., saying it looks just like the bird on the uniforms of the Toronto Blue Jays. (In fact, he first called it a Toronto Jay.) The SAS server has been down for two days, so there was no posting this earlier. The sighting was about 11 a.m. today (Thurs.) If there are any South Sound birders who could check this out and report back, it would be great. If you need further details, Terry?s phone is 253-948-2561 and his e-mail is above (hope I got it right in the hubbub of the shop...)

Thanks,
Penny Koyama, Bothell
