I addition to the other rarities already reported (2 Bar-tailed Godwits,
Tropical Kingbird, Wilson's Plover, Common Eider), the Waggoner brothers
found a Hudsonian Godwit at Shoalwater this afternoon. Just south of the
Chevron along SR105 one can view the marshy area to the west from the road
to Tokeland. There were also 3 American Golden-Plovers and a few Red Knots
there.
