Hi Tweets -

After a lot of planning and anticipation it's finally happening - Cheryl and I are off to Australia. We'll be spending 5 days in Sydney, 2 days in the ACT, 6 days in Tasmania, and 10 days in North Queensland (Cassowary house and Cairns with a day at Michaelmas Cay and three days fishing on the reef). The goals are 200+ lifers and a wild platypus.

The itinerary is pretty well set, but if you have must-see suggestions or recommendations for birding guides in Tas or Cairns, I'd love to hear them (on or off list).
