Subject: [Tweeters] Snowy Plovers Question

Hey Tweets,

I finally got out yesterday to count my life/state bird - the Wilson's
Plover that has stuck with us so long. With all the notices on Tweeters, I
don't remember anyone mentioning the color coded bands on the Snowy
Plovers. I only started seeing them after concentrating on the Wilson's. It
was difficult to check them all. They either hunker down or skitter about
or stand on one leg. I include here only three photos that show both legs
at once. Does anyone have any idea if this info has been passed on to the
interested parties?

For best viewing, click on an image, then the "magnifying glass."

Also, I may have missed the stats regarding the Wilson's. How many other
historical observations of this species are there for Washington, if any,
and when?

Thank you for your indulgence.
