Sunday morning, in a group of seven hardy birders, the Lapland Longspur became my 300th sp. WA species this year!
Special thanks to Steve Pink who first identified the LALO, to Michael Willison who got me out there, and to Jim Flynn, John Gatchett, Josh Adams and Connie Pink with whom I shared the moment of joy and triumph!
I started this because of Steve, persevered because of Michael, and surpassed my initial goal of 200 by midyear because of the encouragement and support received from my super SnoCo birding friends.
