I've had a hummingbird visiting my property recently which is a surprise
since I live near the foothills in rural Snohomish county at around 450-500
ft el. I assume it's a young Anna's since the rufous all departed months
ago (haven't gotten a close enough look at it yet to be sure). I'm not used
to seeing hummingbirds so far from the water this time of year, especially
on my property-is this an anomaly or are Anna's spreading in our area?
