Highlights from Wednesday afternoon include:??a ?pied-billed grebe inside the marina,? a juvie Cooper's hawk (the presence of which was revealed to us by?crows continually stafing?something unseen on top?of the Yahcht Club building),?a?kingfisher,?lots of Heermann's gulls (which are whitewashing?the marina breakwater), a northern shrike (I don't know if it is the same one I saw last week) , and two western grebes off the fishing pier.
