Hi again...forgot to mention, I love watching crows, and get to see a
lot of (to me) pretty amazing things they do for no apparent reason
other than to amuse themselves. It doesn't surprise me, given how
intelligent corvids have been proven to be. I believe someone said one
of the marks of intelligence is a sense of humor, and doing a 360 snap
roll down the highway to entertain you and itself seems to show a
great deal of humor.

The crows here in Ocean Shores gather each evening into a sort of
staging area to discuss the day's activities and whatever...much
nattering...before flying off together to roost somewhere north of the
peninsula. I sometimes drive out to park near enough to listen and
watch, and as they are gathering from all over the town they often
perform manuvers that demonstrate their flying skills. I assumed these
were the equivalent of teens showing off their newly aquired "wheels".
