A great resource for anyone interested in details analysis of bird calls
and sounds is Earbirding.com.

They have an amazing collection of bird sounds from around the world.
One cool search function is that you can click on a map of the world and
retrieve all bird sounds in their index that were recorded near that
selected spot. All calls are well labeled with time of year and
location, and often describe what the bird was doing at the time.

Another interesting story related to bird frequencies is that Ludlow
Griscom, one of the pioneers of birding in many ways in the US, recorded
the order in which he lost the ability to hear different bird calls as
he noticed his hearing was deteriorating due to age. He used this list
to order the frequencies of bird calls, assuming those of highest
frequency were the ones he lost first.
