Hi,
My kids found a a dead shorebird today at Bottle Beach. I think it is a
semipalmated sandpiper but I would like another opinion. I took a
couple of photos with my phone, they can be seen at:

When I first examined it I thought it was a Least because it was so
small, but the legs are black. The bill doesn't look long enough for a
Western. What do you think?
