Yesterday morning there was an adult winter plumaged clay-colored sparrow among a flock of chipping sparrow at The Cove park on Huntzinger Rd south of Vantage. This is the place formerly known as Getty's Cove. Many warblers moving through and a couple of Lincoln's Sparrows. Also of note was an American redstart.

At the Airport Property on Huntzinger Rd (south of the horse farm) there was a single red-necked phalarope and 2 great egrets.

Could not find terns at either Vantage or Potholes Reservoir. No stilt sandpipers at Perch Pt or Lind Coulee on Potholes, but had 4 semi-palmated sandpipers among the western and least at perch pt.

This morning there were some migrants at Washtucna. Notable were a yellow-breasted chat that did a disappearing act before I could show it to others and a least flycatcher. Empids seemed a little sparse overall, with only Hammond's and singles of gray and pacific-slope noted.
