Hello All,

MerryLynn and I just returned from Ocean Shores on a wild Lesser Sand Plover chase. We did see some nice birds but missed the target for the trip and that was the Lesser Sand Plover. We did see the following notable species on the Game Range on 1 Sept.

Pacific Golden Plover..................1 bird
Pectoral Sandpiper.........7 birds
Peregrine Falcon.............2 birds
Red Knot...........................4 birds

Ocean Shores Beach

Sooty Shearwaters..........150,000+ birds

Black-throated Gray Warbler...1 bird
