Good Morning,

At 8:15am this morning, I got two brief looks at a male Black and White
Warbler along Holcomb Rd, about 20 yards north of where Deadman Creek goes
under Holcomb Rd (west side of road). Code 5 for Spokane County and a state
lifer for me.

Also in this area, there was a large mixed flock of species feeding
including Evening Grosbeaks (30), Pine Siskins (50), Western Tanagers (20),
Yellow rumped Warbler (2), Wilson's Warbler (1), Orange crowned Warbler
(1), Warbling Vireos (5), Cassin's Vireo (2), Cedar Waxwing, Gray Catbird
(4), (10), Further up Holcomb Rd, there were many Red Crossbills, Western
Bluebirds, Chipping Sparrows and more Western Tanagers and a MacGillivray's
Warbler.

At the Peone Wetland, there was a mixed flock of Western and Least
Sandpipers being harassed by a Merlin.

Fun Morning
