I really shouldn't bring this up, but I guess I can take the
ridicule. Today, 9/3, early afternoon, on the N. Issaquah trail
headed to Redmond along East Lake Sammamish Pky. we spotted an unusual
bird. It headed west out over the lake but circled back to land in
some bare branches at the top of a good sized Doug Fir. Leora and I
were both on it for five minutes with 10x40's. Noted a distinctive
stripped head with large bill and it's light yellow under parts. The
only thing it reminded us of was Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher, which we
had both seen at different times in AZ. Size and posture were right,
but it didn't squeak and it wasn't fly catching. If we had noted a
rusty tail and there were any previous state records for this species
we might be making a bigger deal about it.

No big deal.
