Hi Connie and I hiked up to the Freemont Lookout yesterday in glorious weather. Highlights include Goshawk, WT Ptarmigan and c50 Grey-crowned Rosy-Finch. There were 2 Prairie Falcon and a few Clark's Nutcrackers. The Goshawk was a fly-over near Frozen Lake. The Ptarmigan was about 75 feet from the lookout. On our way up the trial we were encouraged by reports of 2 adults and 2 juveniles but when we reached the area we just saw the one adult. Cheers and good birding, Steve
