Again, apologies for the frequency of my posts these last few days.

Thank you all for your help with the Cooper's Hawk identification, as well
as some of you who offered tips and corrections to the little website of
mine.

I am writing because of this delusion of mine that I had two Mountain
Chickadees visit my feeder a few weeks ago. One of the fellows returned
today (not the other strangely). So I took photos of it for you to review
(if you like). Looking at my photos myself, it appears it is just a
Black-capped that is molting in a strange way. There is just a slight buff
color on its belly (especially near the edge underneath the wings). I think
a Mountain is largely grey in this area. Also the back of the head is
mottled, as if it might be molting.

Anyway, I now have a link for any bird I can't identify.

If you have time and are so inclined, can you confirm this is just a weird
looking Black-capped and not a Mountain?

If you are really ambitious you can now browse my site by species:

The general homepage is just:

I promise not to come here every day in some rude, crass promotion of my
little website. It's just that I am new and I often stumble onto birds I
can't completely identify! While all my photos are just of my feeders, later
this week, we hope to walk around Lincoln Park to try the camera out on a
park walk. Wish me luck!
