Hi Tweets,
Thanks again for all the trip advice. I have been lucky enough to bird in
quite a few places these last two weeks and wanted to share some
highlights. I did stop at Mima's Mounds and as I was warned: very
picturesque, but no birds.

Great Blue Herons (7 together on the river)
Sanderlings
A variety of shorebirds I couldn't discern. Sigh.
