The 5 boxes at the Port Townsend Boat haven have produced 10-12 Purple Martin hatchlings this year. Five are still being fed and the rest of the flock are consuming large quantities of Dampwood Termites over land and water. Prior to feeding the young, the adults seem to chop off the termite wings which flutter to the ground. A bit of feeding glitter.
