Subject: [Tweeters] Great visit to Nisqually NWR on September 5th, 2012

Visited Olympia and Nisqually NWR for the first time September 4-5th, 2012
and had a wonderful time with a great group of Washington Birders on
Wednesday.


Some of the highlights at Nisqually were: An American Bittern, half a dozen
Bald Eagles, a very friendly and cooperative Red-tailed Hawk, a Peregrine
Falcon, a possible Stilt Sandpiper (nearly positively ID?d by the group of
Washington Birders but not sure what the final consensus was...), Least
sandpipers, Ring-necked ducks, Cinnamon Teals and a Black Phoebe along with
many other good views of cooperative birds.
