I drove up to Spencer Island today with the intention of ignoring the signs
(I did this last at the end of July and didn't have any problem}. I parked
in the lot for Langus park, and walked to the sewage plant right before the
bridge to get onto the island. Unfortunately, there were trucks and
bulldozers etc. doing some sort of construction either on the bridge or
immediately in front of it, completely blocking off access to the island. I
was pretty disappointed. Whatever they are doing to the place, I hope they
finish early.
