hi all ... Gene and I went up to Budd Inlet, Olympia, yesterday to
look for the young Long-billed Curlew which has been seen there ...
SUCCESS !!! ... we enjoyed watching him eat, bathe, and just walk
around for two hours while the tide was coming in and we ate lunch ...

among other fun birds we had a flock of 4 Lesser Sandpipers, a single
Caspian Tern, and 3 different Gulls (Mew, Ring-billed, and
Glaucous-winged) ...
